I know some of you will be looking for the best micro wedding venue in Scotland right now so I thought I'd share Katie & Brian's amazing intimate wee wedding at the Kinghouse in Glencoe. Nestled in the heart of Glencoe, the recently renovated Kingshouse offers some of the most spectacular views in Scotland. It really ticks all the boxes for a micro wedding or elopement. From the beautiful bridal prep room which boasts a large balcony with views right down the glen to the Way Inn which is an old hillwalkers pub that's bursting with character and an open log fire providing a cosy wee space for your reception dinner.

Getting Ready

The Ceremony

Katie & Brian chose to have their ceremony outside and the Kingshouse have created the perfect wee place for it. They've put down a stone aisle with a wee bit at the end for the couple. It's ideal as it keeps those high heels off the sometimes soggy Glencoe grass! And needless to say you have a breathtaking backdrop. A kilted Gary J Smith conducted the humanist ceremony which was perfectly tailored to Katie & Brian.

Exploring Glencoe

After a few family snaps we set off for a wee adventure around Glencoe. We popped down to the wee white house at the foot of Buachaille Evite Mor before heading to a more elevated spot with views right down the glen. We finished off the photoshoot by visiting the local deer.

Speeches

The Kingshouse has the perfect wee space to host speeches and dinner for micro weddings. We managed to get out after for a couple of photos on the grounds of the Kingshouse. I had a brilliant time shooting Katie and Brian's day and it really showcased how magical a wee wedding can be in Glencoe.
