Glencoe Scotland Wedding Elopement Photographer at Etive Mor
Gwen & Scott
With a love for hillwalking and the great outdoors, an adventurous wedding elopement to Glencoe was the perfect choice for Gwen & Scott and what a joy it was to be their wedding photographer. It also meant that two adorable rescue greyhounds Penny & Bill could be in attendance to witness their humans tying the knot.
The Ceremony
Gwen & Scott picked the beach down at the foot of Buachaille Etive Mor for their ceremony. This is my favourite spot for vows; it's always super quiet (it can get a bit busy up by the car park) and you have spectacular views down the glen with Etive Mor and the famous wee white house providing an epic backdrop. A kilted Ashton Easter conducted the humanist ceremony which was the perfect balance of humour, stories and love. Ashton says that the love heart created by the hand fast knot was a pure fluke (see photo below!),
Exploring Glencoe
After the ceremony Penny & Bill posed for a few photos before heading to the camper van for a nap and we ventured out to get a few snaps around Glencoe. The weather was on our side with very little wind so we went up to higher ground for views right down down the glen.
Onto Monachyle Mhor
Gwen & Scott were spending the evening at one of my other favourite elopement spots Monachyle Mhor so I suggested we end the day there as I absolutely love the still lochs and mountains that surround it.
I had such an amazing day with Gwen, Scott, Penny and Bill. You can't get a more chilled out wedding than getting married in the middle of the beautiful Scottish highlands with your two dogs as guests!
