Scotland is home to some incredible outdoor wedding venues - and the coastal landscape of Crear was the setting for Fiona and Greg’s small summer bash. They got married outdoors under a beautiful arch covered in foliage, and then we went on a wee jaunt up to some ruins for some photos with just the two of them - a bit of a trek and a climb, but they were fully prepared for the adventure (well warned)! It was a perfect, chilled out affair, with the guests relaxing outdoors in the stunning scenery during the day, and then partying their arses off at night, with a fiery ceilidh bringing an awesome atmosphere.

Fiona was a stylish bride with a unique wedding dress with a large ruffled skirt with an unusually cut lace back. The wedding had a simple, minimalist style - organic natural colours, lots of greens and whites. The bridesmaids stood out in stunning rose gold bridesmaid dresses with sequins. We had great fun with an epic sunset and some beautiful light throughout.

Crear weddings always have a unique feel - it’s a small wedding venue and it’s remote, so the weddings there tend to be made up of close family and friends who have travelled and are staying locally. That always brings a special relaxed atmosphere. As ideas for summer weddings go, it’s hard to see past an intimate affair at Crear. Well worth the drive!
