Thalia & Nash: Cambo Estate Wedding

Thalia & Nash

Thalia and Nash got married in a beautiful Scottish/Hindu wedding at Cambo estate over a couple of days in Spring. It was a beautiful explosion of colours and cultures and decorations, with the bridesmaids in an eclectic mix of dresses, and a beautiful collection of decorative details which had obviously been given loads of creative thought!

I absolutely love Humanist weddings - in Scotland, we’ve been having them for longer than almost any country on the planet, and they really are the perfect way to celebrate a union. Not too formal, not at all flippant - a great tonal balance. Thalia and Nash had a Humanist service on day one, and then a Hindu ceremony on the second day to add to the formalities.

Cambo Estate is one of my favourite country house wedding venues in Fife, and really one of the best places in the country for a wedding. And it’s always great to shoot a wedding at St. Andrews, which has no shortage of inspiring landscapes.
