Fidjit & Jack
Normally the elopements & small weddings I photograph in Scotland are in the highlands in places such as Glencoe or the Isle of Skye but I do get a chance to photograph the occasional city elopement and I love them! Fidjit & Jack chose Glasgow for their intimate wedding which always excites me as I get to be super creative with the architecture, lines and light in Glasgow city centre. After the ceremony we did a few family snaps before the couple went for a drive around the city in a Rolls Royce.
We then ventured to The Merchants House of Glasgow for a few snaps on their epic rooftop. The rooftop has been used in many movies and you can see why below! They then went for a break which I believe involved a mass order of food from MacDonalds for all their guests! I joined them later in that evening to photograph their party in the legendary Grand Ole Opry which must be one of the only places in Glasgow where you can still get a pint under £3!
I am really digging Jack & Fidjit's style. Fidjit wore her Mum's wedding dress, white adidas socks and vegan Dr Martens while Jack rocked his Ted Baker suit and Paddy the dog (who was the man of honour!) looked very pretty in his new white wedding collar and lead. And if you were wondering about the incredible ink work on show then they met at a tattoo studio in Soho 8 years ago. Fidjit 's Drowning Girl series can be seen on bodies all over the world and she has done some amazing work for charities such as Rape Crisis, please check out her Instraam.
What a fantastic wedding! It went a little something like this...
